A 90-minute mix of lush and classic deep house recorded in 1995.
On the 22nd anniversary of our playing the Saint at Large White Party together at Roseland Ballroom in New York, Susan Morabito and I joined together to play a livestream White Party in the time-honored tradition of bringing people together in love and harmony for a night of soulful, uplifting music. The reception far exceeded our expectations and the result was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Hundreds joined live on Twitch and Zoom and revelled together as we played for 8 continuous hours - first me for 2 hours, then MORABITO for 2, and finally we relayed for an unplanned additional 4 hours as people remained tuned in and dancing along in joy. This recording is my first two hours. The other parts of the party will be available at a later date. Who would have thought in these challenging times that we could bring people together for such a moment.
I feel real good this evening; and I'd like to say I feel good for one reason: that we're all here together.
How can you just sit there bobbin' your head to this beat? Snappin' your fingers, or tappin' your feet? I don't know about you, but this track makes me wanna move like somebody. Get on the Funk Train! An 80-minute blend of grand, funky, and smooth disco guaranteed to get you up off your feet and shaking your groove thing. Recorded November 2020.
Recorded February 14, 1995 at Avalon, Boston for their semi-annual event where house and disco came together for a fun and festive retro celebration!

A promotional mix recorded in June 2003 highlighting new discoveries from the beginning of that summer.
This is the first mix CD I ever made. Before it, all my mixes were on cassette tape. It was a pretty big leap to be able to burn a CD at home, so I set out to make a memorable set devoted to my own tastes at the time and "Selfish" was the result. Though my approach to curating the set list was selfish, this set proved to have broad appeal and was the best selling set in my tape and cd club. Here it is now in streaming format. It encapsulates the "pretty," soulful, and uplifting sound popular on Fire Island in the mid-to-late nineties.
